Fresh is the best. Most people love green beans out of a can...but fresh is so much healthier, tastier and just as easy to prepare! Coconut oil, ginger, honey and lime add a wonderful taste. Super healthy and tasty.

How to Make Honeyed Green Beans with Fried Ginger

Step-by-Step

  1. Wash beans. Cut both ends off.
  2. Boil beans in water for 7 minutes, until tender. Drain and set aside.
  3. Melt coconut oil in same pot. Saute ginger for about 30 seconds, stirring often.
  4. Turn off heat. Add green beans and honey to pan. Stir together with pinch of salt.
  5. Prior to serving, top with lime juice.
