Garlic Rubbed Roasted Cabbage Steaks

These cabbage steaks can be a little tricky when flipping, but they are so good even if they fall apart a little bit. The garlic and olive oil roast and permeate throughout the cabbage. It's so flavorful. Smashing the garlic really brings out the freshness and flavor. This is a great side dish for anyone but especially someone living a low carb or Keto lifestyle.
Tip: We found smaller heads of cabbage worked best, as well as pulling off the outermost dark leaves before slicing the steaks. We also cut the slices a little thicker than 1". It was easier to flip them that way. Once you lay them on the pan the outer edges start to undo but they cook crisp and are super yummy. The Test Kitchen
1head of green cabbage
1 1/2 Tbspolive oil
2-3 clovegarlic, smashed
·salt and pepper
·olive oil cooking spray, I didn't have the olive kind and used Pam regular, it worked well.
