1Peel off 2-3 dark outer leaves of each brussels sprouts. Trim ends.
2In lg dutch oven, heat sugar over medium heat, until sugar starts to melt, shaking pan occasionally. Reduce heat and cook sugar until it starts to brown.
3Add butter, stir until it is melted. Add vinegar, cook 1 mins. Add water and salt. Bring to a boil.Add sprouts. Return to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered for 6 mins, or until liquid is evaporated.
