1/2 c(1 stick) butter
1-1/2 cchopped celery
1-1/2 cchopped carrots
1 pkg(14 oz.) stuffing
1 can(s)(14.5 oz.) chicken broth
2 tspdried sage
2 cfrench fried onions
How to Make CRUNCHY HOLIDAY STUFFING
- Melt butter in a large pot. Stir in vegetables and saute for 5 minutes.
- Add stuffing, broth, and water; stir until moistened. Gently stir in 1 cup onions and the sage. Spoon stuffing into 3-qt. baking dish.
- Cover and bake in a preheated 350º oven for 20 minutes. Uncover, sprinkle with remaining onions, and bake 5 minutes more or until onions are golden.
