Ever have extra tomatoes from your garden. Don't know what to do with them. Try this. You will love them and they are so easy to make.

  • 3 large
    tomatoes, red or green, i have used them both.
  • 1 c
    sour cream, fat-free
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt and pepper
  • 1 Tbsp
    all purpose flour
  • 2 Tbsp
    each green chilies and green onions
  • 2 c
    white chedder cheese, grated

How to Make Bob's Chili Cheese Tomatoes.


  1. Cut tomatoes into thick slices and place on a cookie sheet. In a mixing bowl mix every thing together but not the cheese. Cover tomatoes with sour cream mixture then top with cheese. Broil at 325 for 4 minutes 4 inches from heat or until cheese melts. Serve warm.
