Ingredients

  • 1 large yellow squash
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 large segment garlic
  • Dashes - oregano, dried
  • Dashes - cayenne pepper & black pepper
  • 1/3 cup parmesan cheese plus liberal amt. of grated monterey jack cheese topping
  • 1/3 cup milk or half n half cream
  • 1/3 cup bread crumbs, seasoned

How To Make cheesey baked summer yellow squash

  • Step 1
    preheat oven 350 degrees F. Oil baking pan or casserole dish. Add diced garlic.
  • Step 2
    Slice Squash placing in a scattered fashion fully covering pan. Add milk, Sprinkle seasonings, add shredded cheeses.
  • Step 3
    Sprinkle bread crumb topping. Cover with lid, or aluminum foil. bake 1 hr. Remove from oven and serve as a delicious side dish.
