Bread Dressing or bread stuffin' muffins
- 2 lb loaf of wheat bread
- 1/2 lb
- country sausage,cooked and drained
- 1/2 lb
- bacon,cooked and drained
- 1 large
- 4 large
- stalks celery,choped
- 2-3 c
- chicken broth
- 2-4 tsp
- poulry seasoning or sage
- salt and pepper to taste
How to Make Bread Dressing or bread stuffin' muffins
- 1Break bread into large bowl. Set aside.
Meanwhile, cook Sausage, drain. Using the same skillet, Fry Bacon, reserve bacon drippings to use later in the dressing.
- 2When bacon has cooled, Crumble Bacon into Bread bowl. Add in crumbled sausage also.
Using 1 Tablespoon bacon drippings, saute' celery and onion (Adding in as raw is ok too)
Combined all ingredients into bowl. Stir .Pour over the Chicken Broth until just moistened. Bake in a shallow pan 350 degrees for 1-1/2 hours or use small scoop to muffin tins for an hour or until tops are crispy
