Breakfast doesn't have to be bland or boring. To make use of leftovers and add a surprisingly sweet & savory flavor to breakfast try these baked fries.

Ingredients
- 1 small yam
- 1 medium potato
- 1 small red onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- dashes - chili powder, paprika, ground ginger, salt & pepper
- 1/4 cup olive oil, extra virgin
How To Make sweet & savory cottage fries

Step 1preheat oven 450 degrees F.

Step 2scrub potatoes then place on paper towel for drying

Step 3pour 1/4 c. extra virgin Olive oil in bowl

Step 4cut potatoes into quarters then slice from ea. quarter the desired size slices

Step 5dip ea. one into oil then place on baking pan

Step 6sprinkle liberally with spices & garlic

Step 7slice red onion thin and sprinkle on top of potatoes

Step 8Bake in hot oven (not broiler) Bake for 45 min. turning mid-way the crisping process Remove from pan and serve hot
