red onion
2 clove
chili powder, paprika, ground ginger, salt & pepper
1/4 c
olive oil, extra virgin

How to Make Sweet & Savory Cottage Fries


  • 1preheat oven 450 degrees F.
  • 2scrub potatoes then place on paper towel for drying
  • 3pour 1/4 c. extra virgin Olive oil in bowl
  • 4cut potatoes into quarters then slice from ea. quarter the desired size slices
  • 5dip ea. one into oil then place on baking pan
  • 6sprinkle liberally with spices & garlic
  • 7slice red onion thin and sprinkle on top of potatoes
  • 8Bake in hot oven (not broiler)
    Bake for 45 min. turning mid-way the crisping process
    Remove from pan and serve hot
