This is a great stew to make and put in the freezer or to take to a pot luck dinner There wont be any to take home.

Ingredients

  • 3 TO 4 pounds beef stew meat
  • 2 large potatoes
  • 1 pound carrots
  • 2 large onions grated
  • 1 stalk celery sliced
  • 2 - pods fresh okra
  • 2 cans peas in juice
  • 1 can green beans in juice
  • 2 cans tomato soup
  • 1 1/2 cans water
  • 1 can corn
  • 1 - bay leaf
  • - salt and pepper to taste

How To Make cascade stew by eddie

  • Step 1
    Trim stew meat of fat.
  • Step 2
    Cut potatoes and carrots in chunks.
  • Step 3
    Mix all ingredients together in a large oven proof pan, cover
  • Step 4
    Bake at 275 degrees for 5 hours.
