red or yellow lentils
onion flakes, dehydrated
chicken broth or bouillon and water
salt and pepper
How To Make lentils and rice
In a pot over medium heat (or a rice cooker) melt the butter. Add rice, lentils and onion flakes and stir.
Add milk, broth, salt and pepper. Stir and bring to the boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer till all liquid is absorbed. (about 25 minutes)
Serve with a pat of butter.
