Cilantro Infused Rice

Although white rice is not the healthiest, I have lots of it thanks to my local food distribution charity. And at present I need savings and attempt to save where possible. This recipe is only one way that I do that. It's a good way to be satisfied with little and can be enjoyed anytime of day.

Stove Top


  • 4 c
    cooked white rice
  • 1/4 stick
    unsalted butter
  • Dashes
  • 1/4 tsp
    cajun seasoning
  • Dash
    minced garlic seasoning
  • Dash
    paprika, sweet mild
  • 10 sprig(s)
    cilantro, fresh
  • Dash
    ginger seasoning

How to Make Cilantro Infused Rice


  1. On low heat melt butter in a dash of water into saucepan add minced fresh cilantro leaves & stems, simmer 5 minutes.
  2. Add cooked rice a spoonful, lift & lightly stir.
    Add Cajon seasoning, only a heavy dash of paprika and only 1 dash of minced garlic seasoning to taste.
    Gently incorporate seasonings thoroughly.
  3. Caution: Do not over-cook!
