Slow-Cooked Shepherd’s Pie

2 lbground beef
1 pkg12 oz chopped onions
2 tspminced garlic
(1) 14oz can(s)diced tomatoes, drained
(1) 16oz pkgfrozen peas & carrots
3 Tbspquick cooking tapioca
2 tspdried oregano
1/2 tspblack pepper
(2) 24 oz pkgprepared mashed potatoes or make your own
How to Make Slow-Cooked Shepherd’s Pie
- Cook beef in a large skillet over medium high heat til beef is fully cooked. Transfer to slow cooker. Back in the skillet cook the onions and garlic til onions begin to soften and place those in slow cooker. Stir in tomatoes, veggies,tapoica,oregano and salt and pepper into slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours. Top with mashed potatoes and cover for another 30 mins.
