- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 1/2 cups cottage cheese
- 6 cups thinly sliced potatoes
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup olives, sliced
How To Make cottage cheese scalloped potatoes

Step 1Melt butter; blend in flour and seasonings.

Step 2Gradually add milk and cottage cheese. Stir and cook until thick.

Step 3Combine potatoes and onion with sauce and cook until sauce comes to boil.

Step 4Turn into a greased baking dish and cover. Bake at 350 degrees F. until sauce returns to a boil - about 45 minutes. Uncover and continue baking until potatoes are tender - about 30 minutes.
