mom's mac n cheese

My mom (who is from Germany) used to make this when I was a kid. Everyone loves it to this day :-)

Ingredients

  • medium onion, diced more or less as taste requires.
  • 1 - 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • - any kind of noodles will do.
  • - shredded swiss cheese

How To Make mom's mac n cheese

  • Step 1
    Cook noodles per package instructions. Drain and put in baking dish.
  • Step 2
    While noodles are cooking, dice onion and cook in butter til brown. Pour onions (with the butter) over noodles and mix lightly.
  • Step 3
    Cover with the swiss cheese. You can also sprinkle parsley, or for those of you who like spicy foods, red pepper flakes.
  • Step 4
    Bake at 350 for until cheese is melted and just starting to turn brown.
