Ingredients

  • 1 cup red bulgur
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 3 cups loosely packed parsley chopped
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 - scallion chopped
  • 1/2 - medium onion chopped
  • 1 - medium tomoato chopped
  • 1 - cuccumber skinned and chopped

How To Make tabbouleh

  • Step 1
    Pour boiling water over the bulgur and let sit for 1 hour.
  • Step 2
    Add all of the remaining ingredients. Stir well.
  • Step 3
    Refrigerate until cold. Serve as a side dish.
