Ingredients For pickled mushrooms

  • 1/2 c
    red wine vinegar
  • 1/2 c
    water
  • 2
    bay leaves
  • 2 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 1 lb
    fresh mushrooms, quartered

How To Make pickled mushrooms

    In a saucepan over medium heat, combine vinegar, water, bay leaves, sugar, salt and garlic, Add mushrooms, bring to a boil. Boil for two minutrs. Transfer to glass bowl, cover and refrigerate 8 hours or overnight. Discard bay leaves before serving. Makes 2 1/2 cups.
