Ingredients
- 1 pound dry beans
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoons mustard, ground
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup cider vinegar
- 1/4 pound salted pork (lean)
How To Make old fashioned baked beans

Step 1Soak beans over night; drain.

Step 2Combine spices, onion, molasses, sugar and vinegar in soup or crock pot. Mix in beans.

Step 3Cover and cook on medium-low heat for about 5 hours. If on stove top, stir occasionally.
