2Mix cucumbers & onions in a large microwave-safe bowl. Pour vinegar mixture over cucumbers & onions. Microwave, uncovered, on high power 5 minutes. Stir well, microwave another 5 minutes. Cool, then pour into a quart jar and refrigerate.
3Pickles are ready to eat in 24 hrs, when thoroughly chilled. Keep refrigerated.
Will stay fresh for several weeks.
