This is an excellent sauce to serve with most any type of fish, and it makes an excellent spread for a yummy fish sandwich.

For the best flavor, combine all of the ingredients, and then store in the fridge for a few hours, or overnight. That will give the ingredients a chance to know each other.

So, you ready… Let’s get into the kitchen.

Step-by-Step

  1. PREP/PREPARE
  2. Gather Your Ingredients (mise en place).
  3. Add all of the ingredients to a bowl.
  4. Chef's Tip: To keep the sauce/spread from getting too thin, squeeze out most of the juice from the pickle relish.
  5. Mix together, and then test for proper seasoning.
  6. Chef’s Tip: Obviously, the mayonnaise is the main ingredient in this sauce/spread, so pick one that you realty like. If stored in a sealed container in the fridge it should last 7 to 10 days.
