yield MAKES TWO CUPS

Ingredients

  • 1- 17 ounces can whole kernal corn drained
  • 1/2 cup green or red peppers chopped
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • - salt and pepper to taste

How To Make peppered corn relish

  • Step 1
    In a medium saucepan combine corn and peppers. In a quick shake container measure vinegar, sugar, and cornstarch. Apply seal and cap Shake to combine.
  • Step 2
    Pour over corn mixture in pan, cook and stir over medium heat until thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir 2 minutes more. Cook for 10 minutes in all.
  • Step 3
    Transfer relish to one of the classic sheer16 ounce square container apply lid and seal and refrigerate up to 1 week
  • Step 4
    MAKES 2 CUPS
