- 1 large vanilla beans, scraped
How To Make vanilla sugar

Step 1Split a vanilla bean lengthwise and scrape out the seeds with the tip of a knife.

Step 2Place sugar in an airtight container and add vanilla seeds to it. Completely immerse the vanilla bean in the sugar and close the container. Transfer to a cool, dark spot for a 10 to 14 days. Leave the bean in the sugar as you use it
