Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar (substitute coconut sugar)
- 2 teaspoons cayenne pepper
- 2 teaspoons onion powder
- 2 teaspoons ground himalayan sea salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ground thyme
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon ground allspice
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper, or to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
How To Make jamaican jerk seasoning

Step 1Mix all the ingredients in a bowl. Transfer to an airtight container. Yields 6 1/2 tbsp.

Step 2To make a rub; use 2 tbsp. of canola oil or other flavorless oil with 2 1/2 tbsp. of Jamaican Jerk Seasoning and whisk until well mixed. Apply generously on protein of your choice.
