Ingredients
- 8 large bay leaves, ground
- 1/2 tablespoon mixed peppercorns, ground
- 1/2 tablespoon himalayan sea salt, ground
- 1 teaspoon celery seed, ground
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes, ground
- 1/2 tablespoon dry mustard
- 1/2 tablespoon sweet paprika
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1/8 teaspoon ground mace
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/8 teaspoon ground allspice
How To Make homemade old bay seasoning

Step 1Grind separately bay leaves, mixed peppercorns, sea salt, celery seed and red pepper flakes. Return all of them together back to the spice grinder and grind again.

Step 2Transfer them to a small bowl. Add the remaining ingredients; whisk until well mixed.

Step 3Transfer the blend to an airtight container and store in a cool, dark area. Yields 1/4 cup
