I MADE CHERRY PIE FILLING WITH FREEZE DRIED CHERRIES. SO I THOUGHT WHY NOT MAKE PLUM JAM WITH FREEZE DRIED PLUMS. IT DIDN'T TAKE LONG. MY CLEAN UP MIGHT TAKE A LIL LONGER LOL

yield 2 PINTS AND 1 1/2 PINT JELLY JARS

Ingredients

  • - 41/2 cups suagar
  • - fill 8 oz tub with dried plums
  • - add a lil garpe juice to them to help soften them up in microwave on 35 sec
  • - pour into food processor and just about puree
  • - 1 sure-jell premium [pink box]
  • - boil all tinsils and 2 pint jars and 1 1/2 pint jar w/lids

  • Step 1
    BOIL EVERYTHING. PLACE DRIED PLUMS IN A BOWL AND A LIL GARPE JUICE TO WAKE THEM UP ON 35 SEC TIL U CAN POUR THEM INTO THE PAN. ADD THE SUGAR 1 CUP AT A TIME. STIR TIL SMOOTH AND THEN ADD SURE-JELL PINK LET COME 2 A BOIL. IF U NEED TO ADD A LIL MORE GRAPE JUICE. NOT TO MUCH U DON'T WANT IT THIN

    STIR TIL THICKENS AND READY UR JARS AND LADEL THE JAM INTO THE JARS
  • Step 3
    PLACE SEALS ON THEN RING LIDS TIGHTLY THEN LISTEN FOR THE POPS
