Hubby was helping shop and came home with a small box of peaches , they looked good but after cutting one up for breakfast I realized they were hard and had no flavor so this is what I did with them.

4 large
peaches
1 c
sugar
1/2 c
water
1/4 tsp
almond extract

How to Make Peach Jam (Refrigerator)

Step-by-Step

  • 1Skin peaches
  • 2Dice small
  • 3In large sauce pan add diced peaches, sugar, and water.
  • 4Bring to boil turn on low and simmer till peaches are tender and sauce is cooked down and slightly thick.
  • 5Remove from heat ; with hand blender ,blend peaches slightly. Add almond flavoring; cool.
  • 6Can be stored in refrigerator for 2 weeks in tightly sealed container.
