Ingredients

  • THE SAUCE...

  • 4 c
    fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 2 large
    lemons, fresh squeezed
  • ·
    zest from lemons
  • 1/4 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp
    cayenne pepper, ( optional )
  • 1 1/4 c
    sugar
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp
    cornstarch

How to Make Fireman Bob's Spicy Srawberry Sauce my way...

Step-by-Step

  1. Place strawberries in a bowl and smash them to the " Chunkiness " you want.
  2. Combine the lemon juice, zest, sugar, cinnamon, cayenne pepper, cornstarch, into the mashed strawberries.
  3. Place in pan and slowly cook over medium heat.
  4. Stirring constantly, bring the mixture to a boil.
  5. Remove immediately from the heat and allow to cool to room temperature.
  6. ENJOY !!!
