4 c
fresh strawberries, chopped
2 large
lemons, fresh squeezed
zest from lemons
1/4 tsp
cinnamon
1/4 tsp
cayenne pepper, ( optional )
1 1/4 c
sugar
1 1/2 Tbsp
cornstarch

How to Make Fireman Bob's Spicy Srawberry Sauce my way...

Step-by-Step

  • 1Place strawberries in a bowl and smash them to the " Chunkiness " you want.
  • 2Combine the lemon juice, zest, sugar, cinnamon, cayenne pepper, cornstarch, into the mashed strawberries.
  • 3Place in pan and slowly cook over medium heat.
  • 4Stirring constantly, bring the mixture to a boil.
  • 5Remove immediately from the heat and allow to cool to room temperature.
  • 6ENJOY !!!
