choose your basil dressing
This is a recipe I mixed up one summer day and enjoyed it very much. It is in a small herbal cookbook that I published a long time ago. It is a simple but very flavorful dressing and is even better for you if you grow your own organic herbs. Hope you enjoy ;)

Ingredients
- 1/3 cup finely minced fresh basil (opal, lime, lemon, sweet, cinnamon or any other basil)
- 3/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 cup red wine vinegar
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon water
- 2 cloves garlic, finely minced
- 1 teaspoon sea salt, fresh ground
- 1 teaspoon black pepper, fresh ground
How To Make choose your basil dressing

Step 1Combine all ingredients in a quart mason jar and shake well. Cover and chill for at least 1 hour. Serve over salads, vegetables or mix with fresh cooked pasta. Enjoy ;)
