Ingredients
- 1 cup grape tomatoes (half a pint)
- 4 ounces cubed mozzarella
- 2 ounces shredded mozzarella
- 2 ounces goat cheese (use honey goat cheese for a great flavor combination!)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed basil
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
How To Make goat cheese caprese dip

Step 1Preheat oven to 375.

Step 2Cut tomatoes in half. Add to mixing bowl. Add salt, pepper and basil. Use a spatula to slightly bruise the tomatoes, and mix well.

Step 3Add cubed mozzarella. Mix well.

Step 4Add olive oil to bottom of baking dish. Pour in the tomato mixture.

Step 5Top with shredded mozzarella cheese. (optional - on top of this, I added a dash of the dried basil).

Step 6Top this with thin slices of goat cheese.

Step 7Cover and bake for 12 minutes. Take off the cover, return to oven and bake uncovered for 5 additional minutes.

Step 8Done! Serve immediately.
