My Sister-in Law and I were talking about celebrations and she said that a colleague had given her this recipe at a party. I immediately thought of my after Christmas party and started thinking how delicious this would be on ham! My party is next week and I will add pics and a detailed report. In the mean time, take advantage of all the fresh cranberries in the stores now and make this!

How to Make Cranberry Cream Cheese Dip

Step-by-Step

  1. Mix together the first 8 ingredients. Add the seeds of the jalapeno if you want a spicier dip.
  2. Chill 4 hours or overnight. The sugar needs to seep into the berries.
  3. Spread the cream cheese on a serving platter. You can use the one with chives too.
  4. Use a slotted spoon to spoon the cranberry mixture evenly over the cream cheese on the platter.
  5. Serve with tortilla chips, wheat thins or spread on buns for ham sandwiches! MMMM!
