Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup red onions, chopped
  • 2 large cloves garlic
  • 1/4 tablespoon lemongrass, finely chopped
  • 1/4 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
  • 1 small whole birds eye (thai chili), chopped
  • 1 large dried kaffir lime leaf, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 tablespoon brown sugar, such as demerara (substitute palm sugar)
  • 1 teaspoon freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

How To Make yellow thai curry paste

  • Step 1
    Combine all the ingredient in a blender and process until smooth, stopping a few times to scrape the sides with a spatula.

    Transfer into a small container for later use. Makes about 1/3 cup
