honey mustard ham glaze

You won't believe how simple yet tasty this easy Ham glaze is to prepare. I just made it this past Sunday, and I had a 8 1/2 pound Ham. You can cut the recipe in half if yours is smaller. I like to save any extra sauce to serve along with the ham. The ground cloves enhances the flavor of the mustard. You do not need to cook the glaze, it is merely a matter of applying the glaze to the ham during the last 30 minutes of cooking in the oven. Doesn't get much easier than this. PLEASE GIVE IT A TRY! I have had this recipe at least 35 years or longer. Can't believe I hadn't shared it till now.

During the last 30 minutes of baking ham increase the oven temperature to 400 degrees F. Then liberally brush the ham on all sides with the glaze, then return to the oven and bake for 15 minutes. After the first 15 minutes, re glaze the ham a second time and bake for the remaining 15 minutes. Remove from oven, carve when cool and serve. Follow directions on Ham label to Bake the Ham.
