- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup cranberries (fresh or frozen)
How To Make cranberry simple syrup

Step 1In a medium saucepan over medium-high heat, bring the ingredients to a soft boil, stirring until the sugar dissolves.

Step 2Reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer gently for 15 minutes.

Step 3Pour the mixture into a sieve sitting over a large measuring cup and press the fruits with the back of a wooden spoon to extract as much liquid as possible; discard the pulp.

Step 4Transfer to a glass jar and let it cool completely before storing it in the fridge. Yields 2/3 cup.
