Chimichurri is a staple in Argentina. This is a quick, easy version. Enjoy it as a topping to any meat. You could also use it as a dip for bread. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 c
    packed fresh parsley
  • 1 c
    packed fresh cilantro
  • 1/4 c
    white wine vinegar
  • 4
    garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp
    kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 tsp
    cumin
  • 1/2 c
    olive oil

How to Make Basic Chimichurri

Step-by-Step

  1. In a food processor (or blender) add all ingredients, except the olive oil, and blend until chopped up finely.
  2. Through the small opening of your food processor (or blender), slowly stream in the olive oil while the processor/blender is running. Do this until the mixture is a smooth consistency.
