Sesame chicken w/ oriental cream dip
1/3 clower-sodium soy sauce
2 tspminced garlic
1 tspdark sesame oil
1/2 tspground ginger
1 lbboneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
6 ozlow-fat whipped cream cheese with garlic and herbs
2 Tbspgreen onions, finely chopped
2 Tbsptoasted sesame seeds
1 Tbspolive oil
How to Make Sesame chicken w/ oriental cream dip
- In medium bowl, whisk the soy sauce, garlic, sesame oil and ginger. reserve 2 Tbsp and pour the rest into a lg resealable plastic bag. Add chicken strips to the bag, seal, turn to coat. Refrigerate 2 hrs, turning the bag over occasionally.
- In another medium bowl, lightly beat the cream cheese and reserved marinade. Stir in the green onion. Cover and refrigerate.
- Remove chicken from marinade, discarding marinade. Place sesame seeds on a plate, roll chicken strips in seeds to coat. In lg skillet, heat olive oil over med-high heat. Add chicken. Stir-fry for about 5-7 mins or until golden brown. Serve chicken strips with the Oriental cream dip.
