Dill pickles & frozen fruit were this week's ingredients to use to create a sammie in my Sandwiches, Sammiches & Sammies group. Here is what I created. Cooking with Passion! sw:)

  • 1 pkg
    lady fingers
  • 1/4 lb
    canadian bacon, thinly sliced
  • 12 oz
    mixed berry frozen fruit
  • 1-2 oz
    dill pickles, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp
    raspberry preserves
  • 3 oz
    pomegranate blueberry juice
  • 1 Tbsp
    splenda (optional)
  • 1/4 c
    cream cheese, whipped

How to Make My Dilly & Fruity Ladies


  1. gather ingredients
  2. add ingredients 3-7 to a saucepan. simmer for 5 minutes
  3. blend ingredients with an immersion blender.
  4. simmer until the sauce thickens. remove to cool
  5. spread cream cheese on both sides of the lady fingers. add jam on one side and the canadian bacon on the other side
  6. build your sammies and enjoy!
