How to Make Homemade Applesauce
- 1Peel, seed, and slice the apples.
Place in a saucepan with the rest of the ingredients.
- 2Bring to a boil.
Lower heat, cover and simmer for about 20 to 30 minutes, or until desired consistency.
- 3We like ours a little on the chunky side, so I mash a bit with the potato masher.
- 4(This was really the best when we picked the apples right off our own apple tree!)
