Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup coarsely chopped fresh parsley (about 1/4 of a bunch)
  • 1 cup chopped basil
  • 1/2 cup chopped chives
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 pound fresh baby spinach leaves
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 cup dairy sour cream
  • 2 cups mayonnaise
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons dijon mustard or to taste
  • 2 teaspoons anchovy paste,optional if using omit salt
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice, fresh

How To Make green goddess salad dressing- homemade

  • Step 1
    In a blender, pulse together, the parsley, basil, chives, spinach,and garlic with the vinegar; blend until smooth.
  • Step 2
    Remove the mixture to a large bowl and whisk in the mayonnaise, mustard, sour cream, anchovy paste(if using) salt(omit if using anchovy) pepper and lemon juice.
  • Step 3
    Taste and adjust the flavoring ans seasonings as desired. This will keep, covered and refrigerated , up to 2 weeks. Great on salads, sandwiches, and jello salad recipes.
