Prepared this easy to make dip for special occasions; it is the perfect dip for meat and vegetables. Try this lovely treat you won't be sorry.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup walnuts, halved
  • 5 tablespoons olive oil, virgin

How To Make walnuts, garlic and sour cream dip

  • Step 1
    Crush garlic and salt in a mortar and pestle. (It helps to release the flavor of the garlic) Set aside until needed.
  • Step 2
    Finely chop half of the walnuts and set aside.
  • Step 3
    In a small bowl add the sour cream, garlic and finely chopped walnuts, blend together.
  • Step 4
    In a small bowl, add the sour cream and garlic,
  • Step 5
    Add 4 tbsp of olive oil to the bowl and mix until well, until the mixture is creamy.
  • Step 6
    Garnish with walnuts and the remaining olive oil.
  • Step 7
    Chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
