CRAB DIP WITH A TWIST.I USE TO MAKE THIS DIP ALL THE TIME I USE TO USE LOSUTER .UP IN MASS. BUT NOW HERE IN FL.I CHANGE IT TO JUST CRAB MEAT.ITS ALL SO GOOD FOR ANY SPECIAL GATHERINGS AND ANY SOCIAL GATHERING.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz
    (8 ounces )package light cream cheese.
  • 3/4 lb
    fresh crabmeat,drained and flaked.
  • 1/4 c
    fresh green onions
  • 3 Tbsp
    light mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp
    light sour cream
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    dry mustard
  • 1/8 tsp
    garlic powder(or 2 mashed garlic)
  • 1 oz
    (2-ounce jar diced pimiento,drained
  • 1 Tbsp
    sauterne
  • 1 Tbsp
    chopped fresh chives.

How to Make VALENTINES CONFETTI CRAB DIP

Step-by-Step

  1. PLACE CREAM CHEESE IN A 1 QUART CASSEROLE.

    MICROWAVE ,UNCOVERED ,AT HIGH FOR 1 MINUTE To 1 1/2 minutes or until softened.
  2. STIR well,stir i9n crab meat ,green onions,mayonnaise,sour cream,and seasonings .

    COVER with heavy duty,plastic wrap and microwave at HIGH for 2 to 3 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
  3. STIRRING after 1 minute.STIR in pimiento and chives wine(sauterne )SPRINKLE with chopped fresh chives .
    SERVE WARM DIP. WITH ASSORTED CRACKERS.
    GLASS WHITE WINE .
