I had some ingredients I had to use up so I made this tapenade. I love it on 8 grain dinner rolls.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup black olives
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 tablespoon anchovies
  • 1 cup sun-dried tomatoes
  • 1/8 cup capers
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil
  • 1 pound cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt

How To Make tapenade spread

  • Black olives, garlic, anchovies, sun-dried tomatoes, capers, and basil in a food processor.
    Step 1
    Put black olives, garlic, anchovies, sun-dried tomatoes, capers, and basil in a food processor and chop.
  • Add mixture to a bowl with cream cheese and spices.
    Step 2
    Add to a bowl with the softened cream cheese.
  • Whip together.
    Step 3
    Whip together. Serve with crackers or crusty bread.
