A nice change from trational hummus.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin (or more to taste)
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cloves garlic, peeled
  • 1 can (15-oz) black beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons tahini
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cayenne

How To Make black bean hummus

  • Step 1
    Put all ingredients into a blender or food processor and blend/process until smooth, stopping to scrape down the sides as needed.
  • Step 2
    Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
