Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh tomatillos
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic
  • 2 - avocados
  • 1 - limes juiced
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 2 - jalapenos, fresh (seeded)
  • 1 1/2 bunches cilantro, fresh
  • 1/2 - red onion

How To Make avocado salsa

  • Step 1
    Remove outer skin from tomatillos and quarter Add to blender
  • Step 2
    Add red onion to blender
  • Step 3
    Add jalapenos
  • Step 4
    add peeled garlic cloves
  • Step 5
    add cilantro to blender
  • Step 6
    add salt to blender
  • Step 7
    add lime juice
  • Step 8
    and lastly add the avocado
  • Step 9
    blend until smooth. adjust salt and heat as desired Allow it to chill for 2 hrs to thicken. Can be stored up to 1 week in fridge. Serve with chips, veggies or as a topping for burgers, chicken, etc.
