Ingredients

  • 6 cups chopped lettuce
  • 1 box (10 oz.) thawed frozen peas
  • 1 medium red or purple onion, chopped fine
  • ½ cup dried cranberries
  • 3 medium hard boiled eggs, sliced
  • 2 cups mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 5 slices bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup sliced almonds

How To Make layered lettuce salad

  • Step 1
    Mix the mayo and the sugar together in a small bowl.
  • Step 2
    Layer everything in the order of the ingredients in a trifle bowl or in a 9x13" casserole dish.
  • Step 3
    Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate at least two hours before serving.
