I threw this together using my favorite elements from several salads. It continues to be popular at all our family gatherings.

Ingredients

    assorted greens and lettuce, torn into small pieces
  • 1/2 c
    grated parmesain cheese
  • 1 can(s)
    drained, pitted olives
  • 1 jar(s)
    marinated artichoke hearts, cut up (do not drain)
  • 2
    sliced cucumbers
  • 2 c
    ripe grape tomatoes
  • 8 oz
    crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/2 c
    extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 c
    balsamic vinegar
  • 1
    thinly sliced red onion
  • 1
    diced red bell pepper
  • 1 can(s)
    sliced banana peppers, drained
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    coarse pepper
  • 1 can(s)
    hearts of palm
  • 1 clove
    crushed and minced garlic
  • 1 c
    toasted croutons (optional)

How to Make Kelley's Family Reunion Crowd Pleaser Salad

Step-by-Step

  1. Clean fresh ingredients. Pat them dry.
  2. CHop and dice ingredients.
  3. Mix all wet ingredients together in a big bowl, then add dry to them.
  4. Toss ingredients together just before serving and top with croutons.
