  • 1 medium
    sweet red pepper, cut into julienne strips
  • 1 Tbsp
    sesame oil
  • 3
    green onions, sliced
  • 1 tsp
    fresh ginger, minced
  • 1 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 1/4 tsp
    crushed red pepper
  • 4 c
    cooked fine egg noodles, chilled
  • 4 c
    torn romaine lettuce
  • 1 lb
    fresh crabmeat, drained and flaked
  • 1/4 c
    soy sauce
  • 1/4 c
    red wine vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp
  • 1/2 tsp
    freshly ground pepper

How to Make Crab and Noodle Salad


  1. Saute sweet red pepper in sesame oil in a large skillet for 2 minutes. Add green onions, ginger, garlic, and crushed red pepper, and saute 1 minute.
  2. Combine chilled noodles, red pepper mixture, lettuce, and crabmeat in a large salad bowl; toss gently.
  3. Combine soy sauce and remaining ingredients in a small bowl, stirring with a wire whisk. Pour the dressing over the noodle mixture; toss gently to combine. Cover and chill for 30 minutes. Toss again just before serving.
