Ingredients

  • 12 ounces bow-tie pasta
  • 1 bottle Caesar salad dressing
  • 3 cups grilled chicken chunks or strips, grilled at home or packaged
  • 1 - head romaine lettuce leaves
  • 2 medium tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup bacon bits
  • 1 cup croutons
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, shredded

How To Make chicken caesar pasta salad

  • Cook the pasta.
    Step 1
Cook the pasta until done (to your taste). Rinse with cool water and drain well. While that is cooking...
  • Warm the chicken.
    Step 2
Grill chicken strips. If you bought them precooked at the store, heat them slightly or enjoy them cold. Leave in strips or cut into chunks.
  • Mix drained pasta with some of the salad dressing.
    Step 3
Mix the drained pasta with some of the Caesar dressing.
  • Add chicken and more dressing to the pasta; stir.
    Step 4
Add the chicken and more dressing, if needed. If you're taking this to a covered dish dinner later, cover and refrigerate until ready to leave.
  • Chop the lettuce.
    Step 5
Right before serving, chop the romaine lettuce and tomatoes.
  • Mix lettuce and pasta.
    Step 6
Add lettuce to the bowl with pasta and chicken; stir.
  • Add bacon bits, croutons, Parmesan cheese, and tomatoes.
    Step 7
Add tomatoes, bacon bits, croutons, and shredded Parmesan cheese. Toss well.
  • Add more dressing as needed.
    Step 8
Leave the bottle beside the salad bowl if people want to add more dressing. Serve immediately.
