A simple onion salad recipe. Make sure to use Vidalia onions as they are sweeter.

  • 1 large
    vidalia onion sliced
  • 1
    jalapeno chopped (remove membrane and seeds)
  • 2 tsp
    freshly chopped dill
  • 1/4 c
    extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/3 c
    tarragon flavored vinegar
  • 1 pinch
  • 1/2 tsp
    cracked black pepper
  • 3 Tbsp
    sugar (i used 3 tbsp of truvia)

How to Make Vidalia Onion Salad


  1. Add onions and jalapenos to bowl...mix remaining ingredients together and pour over the onion/jalapeno mixture. Let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 10 min. If you can wait!
