lean ground beef
1/3 c
1 can(s)
taco seasoning mix
16 oz
can of refried beans
7 ounce refrigerated guacamole
16 oz
container refrigerated salsa
1 c
finely shredded cheddar cheese
garnish with: jalapeno and red fresno chilies, very thin sliced, if desired
fresh cilantro & tortilla chips

How to Make Taco Dip in a Jar


  • 1In 10-inch skillet, cook beef over medium heat 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thoroughly cooked; drain. Stir in water, taco seasoning; mix. Heat to simmering; cook 1-to 2 minutes or until thickened. Remove from heat. Stir in refried beans
  • 2In 6 (8-oz)wide mouth jars, evenly layer beef mixture, sour cream, guacamole and salsa. Sprinkle with cheese and cilantro. Serve immediately with tortilla chips.
