I found this recipe on the Betty Crocker web site. what a great idea for a summer party with friends...

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound lean ground beef
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1 can taco seasoning mix
  • 16 ounces can of refried beans
  • 2 - 7 ounce refrigerated guacamole
  • 16 ounces container refrigerated salsa
  • 1 cup finely shredded cheddar cheese
  • - garnish with: jalapeno and red fresno chilies, very thin sliced, if desired
  • - fresh cilantro & tortilla chips

How To Make taco dip in a jar

  • Step 1
    In 10-inch skillet, cook beef over medium heat 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thoroughly cooked; drain. Stir in water, taco seasoning; mix. Heat to simmering; cook 1-to 2 minutes or until thickened. Remove from heat. Stir in refried beans
  • Step 2
    In 6 (8-oz)wide mouth jars, evenly layer beef mixture, sour cream, guacamole and salsa. Sprinkle with cheese and cilantro. Serve immediately with tortilla chips.
