This recipe is always a favorite where ever I take it, to family reunions, church potluck, work.. But be sure to take a recipe card with you, everyone keeps asking for the recipe!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup bulgur wheat, uncooked
  • 1 cup olive oil, extra virgin
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice, fresh
  • 1 bottle salad supreme, mccormick
  • 1 bunch parsley, fresh
  • 1 bunch green onion
  • 1 bunch celery with leaves
  • 8 - tomatoes
  • 2 - cucumbers
  • IF YOU CAN'T FIND MCCORMICK SALAD SUPREME
  • 2 tablespoons romano cheese, grated
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons sesame seeds
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery seed
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons poppy seeds
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • dash cayenne pepper

How To Make tabouli (grandma martha)

  • Step 1
    Mix 1st 4 items and let set covered at room tempature for a couple of hours or set in fridge overnight
  • Step 2
    chop the remaining 5 items and put in a large bowl, add above items that you set aside, mix well and enjoy...
  • Step 3
    it gets better as it ages if you can let it sit that long - refrigerate left overs
