    cabbage, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 c
    fresh lime juice
  • 1 tsp
  • 2 c
    tomatoes, diced
  • 1/2 c
    yellow onion, diced
  • 1/2 c
    cilantro, chopped
  • 1 large
    jalapeno pepper, diced
  • 1 large
    ripe avocado, diced

How to Make Repello (Nicaraguan Cabbage Slaw)


  1. Place the sliced cabbage in a large bowl. Add lime juice and salt; toss to coat.
  2. Add diced tomatoes, onion, cilantro, jalapenos and mix.
  3. Gently fold in diced avocados. Serve immediately or refrigerate.
